Create First Discovery

Think of a discovery as a request for customer interviews. You can choose to create a continuous discovery (set a target # of calls/week), or ad-hoc discovery (set a limit # of calls).

Step 1. Who do you want to speak with?

Specify the target audience and/or conditions (page/event) for in-app recruitment.

Step 2. Further qualify with a screener (optional)

Optionally add screener questions to qualify users for the call.

Step 3. Where do you want to recruit?

Specify and configure the outreach channel (in-app / email / shareable link).

Step 4. How many calls do you want?

Define how many calls you want, when you want them, and who should be taking the interview. You can take calls as a team, round-robin, or individually.

Step 5. Configure the event

Provide details for the event to set proper expectations with the participant.

Step 6. Customize outreach (optional)

Optionally customize the copy of the outreach channel.

Step 7. Sit back

Orbital takes it from here. Once we recruit the target number of calls within the scheduling window you have configured, we'll automatically pause outreach.
