Act Like a Child? - Moodi Mahmoudi
I love how you said that about the curiosity part, because for me that's kind of the heart of it. Just staying curious and knowing that whatever you know it's not the whole story, and the story is evolving all the time.
It's really funny, Raphael, you say this, because a while back I wrote a blog piece called "Act Like a Child". And the whole theory behind it was that children are the R&D department of the human race. I mean, they ask all sorts of questions.
And the hardest question for parents to respond to is "why is water wet?"
Now, you know, like we're just cracking up over this, right? But if you take this and you take a step back and you're like, okay, boring Moodi and boring Raphael building product discovery companies...
When was the last time that we kind of looked at the world, the feature, the product, the company we're building with this level of unlimited empathy and curiosity where nothing is taken for granted. Nothing, right? That everything is there to be discovered and uncovered and dug up and then have this sense of amazement in our eyes when we discover those.
And I think that's where I would love to get back to.
